Now Recording: Kent Harrison Hayes

Ladies and Gentlemen:  Kent Harrison Hayes is in the house!  Listeners of the Quirky Audio Book Series first met Kent when he played Randall Smoot in Yikes! Another Quirky Audio Book www.yikesaudiobook.com.  Kent is back in the studio to take on the role of Scottie Sphincter in Gadzooks! A Comically Quirky Audio Book.  Kent is also working on the video to promote this new project.

Kent has spent decades working as an actor for stage, screen and TV. http://www.kentharrisonhayes.com.

These days, Kent's primary focus is on the construction of the new Kayenta Center for the Arts, but as Co-Artistic Director for Kayenta Arts Foundation, Kent has produced and/or starred in a number of productions including “Spring Equinox! An Evening of Tunes and Tales," as well as productions for his own company, Man of Two Worlds, including "2 Across." www.kayentaartsfoundation.org / www.manoftwoworlds.com.

Kayenta Center for the Arts is slated to be a very unique venue.  It will serve as the only events center in Southern Utah that is not affiliated with a municipality, school or religious organization.  Because of this, the Center will be able to offer audiences a wide range of thought provoking theatre, dance, lectures and visual arts.  The motto for Kayenta Arts Foundation is “BE A PART OF THE ART!”  Anyone who has attended previous Kayenta Arts Foundation productions, staged in alternate venues while the theatre is built, can attest to how delightful and refreshing this approach is.

In addition to building the Center and running his production company, Kent also has a wonderful “non-ministry” called No Yahweh Journeys. www.noyahweh.me

Here's some other things you may not know about Kent:  he cuts his own hair, which affords him the opportunity to shower his hairdresser with extravagant gifts and large tips.  Kent also spends a good deal of time engaging in activities that involve construction (creating blueprints and swinging hammers).  In a wacky example of how art imitates life, the house Kent built to live in bears an uncanny resemblance to Geckos Gulch, the site of many adventures in the Quirky Audio Book Series.  Stayed tuned to hear what Kent will come up with next!

The Tony Alexiou Show

I had the opportunity to spout some of my wacky views on polygamy and marijuana during a recent interview on the Tony Alexiou Show http://www.tonyalexiou.com/shows.html.

Alexiou's show centers on political debate, inviting listeners to hear a variety of views on current issues. As the author of a a blog titled I Need Politics http://www.tonyalexiou.com/blog.html
Alexiou is well versed on a variety to trending topics. Additionally, Alexiou has penned an e-book titled The Fall of the Republican Party http://www.amazon.com/The-Fall-Republican-Party-ebook/dp/B00AIEBTB2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369828978&sr=8-1&keywords=fall+of+the+republican+party

I had a great time being Alexiou's guest. My segment followed a discussion with Florida Senator Nan Rich who was discussing her bid to be Governor of the Sunshine State. Tune in and hear the discussion for yourself http://www.tonyalexiou.com/shows.html

The Give Good Podcast with Katie McCarthy

I had the special honor this week of being a guest on the Give Good Podcast with Katie McCarthy http://www.GiveGoodPodcast.com/Adele Park

The idea behind the Give Good Podcast is to inspire and enlighten listeners. Katie is a very gracious hostess, prompting her guests to explore not just their successes, but to talk about challenges which ultimately provide useful lessons.

As a career coach and entrepreneur, Katie helps others turn their passions into reality. Before hosting the Give Good Podcast, Katie spent five years working as a Senior Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton. Katie's wide range of duties while working as a consultant for a globally deployed Department of Defense program helped make her uniquely qualified to assist others working towards a specific goal.

Rounding out Katie's solid business background is an understanding about how to motivate people to motivate themselves. One of Katie's clients was a Silicon Valley SW developer. In just three months, Katie helped this client turn his $200/month side business into an entrepreneurial enterprise with returns of $10K/per month. Find out how Katie can help you katie@givegoodpodcast.com

This month Katie is launching a product called 1-2-3 Podcast which is a step-by-step group coaching program that teaches people how to plan, launch, automate and monetize a podcast. The program costs $797 during the official launch, but readers of my blog who sign up before February 15th will get a special price of just $497

I had a wonderful time being on Katie's show. I hope you'll tune in every week to hear what Katie has to share next http://www.GiveGoodPodcast.com.
