Now Recording: Kent Harrison Hayes

Ladies and Gentlemen:  Kent Harrison Hayes is in the house!  Listeners of the Quirky Audio Book Series first met Kent when he played Randall Smoot in Yikes! Another Quirky Audio Book www.yikesaudiobook.com.  Kent is back in the studio to take on the role of Scottie Sphincter in Gadzooks! A Comically Quirky Audio Book.  Kent is also working on the video to promote this new project.

Kent has spent decades working as an actor for stage, screen and TV. http://www.kentharrisonhayes.com.

These days, Kent's primary focus is on the construction of the new Kayenta Center for the Arts, but as Co-Artistic Director for Kayenta Arts Foundation, Kent has produced and/or starred in a number of productions including “Spring Equinox! An Evening of Tunes and Tales," as well as productions for his own company, Man of Two Worlds, including "2 Across." www.kayentaartsfoundation.org / www.manoftwoworlds.com.

Kayenta Center for the Arts is slated to be a very unique venue.  It will serve as the only events center in Southern Utah that is not affiliated with a municipality, school or religious organization.  Because of this, the Center will be able to offer audiences a wide range of thought provoking theatre, dance, lectures and visual arts.  The motto for Kayenta Arts Foundation is “BE A PART OF THE ART!”  Anyone who has attended previous Kayenta Arts Foundation productions, staged in alternate venues while the theatre is built, can attest to how delightful and refreshing this approach is.

In addition to building the Center and running his production company, Kent also has a wonderful “non-ministry” called No Yahweh Journeys. www.noyahweh.me

Here's some other things you may not know about Kent:  he cuts his own hair, which affords him the opportunity to shower his hairdresser with extravagant gifts and large tips.  Kent also spends a good deal of time engaging in activities that involve construction (creating blueprints and swinging hammers).  In a wacky example of how art imitates life, the house Kent built to live in bears an uncanny resemblance to Geckos Gulch, the site of many adventures in the Quirky Audio Book Series.  Stayed tuned to hear what Kent will come up with next!
